Emergency Roof Repair
Water coming in right now? We connect you with a licensed local roofer who can tarp, patch and stop the damage fast.

- Fast response for active leaks and open roofs
- Emergency tarping to stop water damage
- Photo documentation for your insurance file
- Permanent repair scheduled right after
An emergency repair has one job: stop the water today so the inside of your house stops getting worse. The full fix comes after, in daylight, with a written price.
Signs you may need this
- Water dripping into a room right now
- A ceiling that is sagging or bulging
- Shingles gone and bare wood showing
- A tree limb resting on the roof
- Wind peeled a section of roof open
How the visit goes
1. We ask what is happening inside
Where the water is coming in, how fast, and whether anyone can move things out of the way. That tells the roofer what to bring.
2. Water gets stopped first
Usually that means a tarp or a temporary patch over the open area. It is not the repair. It buys time and keeps the wood from soaking.
3. Photos before anything is covered up
Pictures of the open area and the damage inside. You keep copies. If you file an insurance claim, that is the evidence.
4. The real repair is scheduled
After the water is stopped, the roofer measures the damage and gives you a written price for the permanent fix.
What changes the price
We do not post prices, because a roof nobody has looked at cannot be priced. These are the things that make the job bigger or smaller.
- • How much roof is open
- • Whether wood under the shingles is soaked and has to come out
- • How steep the roof is and how the ladder has to be set
- • Whether a limb or debris has to come off first
- • Whether the temporary cover has to hold for days or weeks
Questions homeowners ask
- Should I put a bucket under it?
- Yes. Move furniture, put down a bucket, and if the ceiling is bulging, poke a small hole at the low point so the water drains in one spot instead of bringing the ceiling down.
- Will the tarp fix the leak?
- No. A tarp keeps rain out of the opening. The repair under it is a separate job with its own written price.
- Can someone come in the rain?
- A tarp or temporary cover can go on in wet weather when it is safe. Tearing a roof off in the rain is not safe or smart, so that part waits for a dry day.
- Is this an insurance claim?
- It might be, when a storm caused it. The photos taken at the visit are what a claim is built on. Nobody can tell you what your policy covers except your insurance company.
Straight talk: We do not post a response time we cannot keep. Partner roofers do the work, and how fast someone gets there depends on who is free and how far away you are.
